Hands up who wants Paul Van de Walle's job? As the Stella Artois Brewmaster, Paul's role is to oversee the brewing and quality control at over 20 Stella Artois international breweries. Born in Belgium, Paul studied industrial engineering, specialising in brewing science before landing a job at the brewery in Leuven, Belgium back in 1983.

Hawke's Bay Hop-O-Rama

Chris Ormond from Hawke's Bay brewery Giant, is having huge trouble keeping up with demand for his limited release Hawke's Bay Pale Ale. It's unique in that it's been hopped with whole Smooth Cone and Wakatu hop flowers, grown at Haumoana near the Tukituki Valley by George Bostock.

Whitestone Pale Ale Cheese is the result of adding Phil Scott's (of Scott's Brewing Co) favourite Motueka hops to the curds of what will become semi-soft Airdale cheese, which is washed in Scott's Pale Ale - to create a Pale Ale Cheese. It is creamy, grassy, bitter and hopalicious!
